My Perfect Wedding Day Hair Style

 The Wedding Day

On the 29th of October 2020, I married my best friend, the one that makes me feel, loved, protected, unique and beautiful.

We were married on a Friday in the magnificent gardens at the Narmbool Estate, an old homestead, about 30 minutes south of  Ballarat, Victoria.  I woke up to a perfect spring day of sunshine which set the mood for the whole day, heavy rain was forecast earlier in the week, but the sun god had blessed us, and the rain stayed away until early the next morning.

The Wedding Reception

Our reception in the Narmbool Garden Room was shared with 75 of our closest family and friends, we had a fantastic time, and our day exceeded all expectations.  The atmosphere was intimate, social, and relaxed, the food and wine were superb, the speeches were extremely funny, and the whole room was in tears “even the wedding cake”.

I felt amazing on my wedding day, my dress, my Wedding Day Hair, my make-up, it all came together perfectly, and it gave me the confidence to thoroughly enjoy our much awaited day. I felt glamorous and beautiful like every bride should on their big day.

So, let’s wind the clock back a few months, a perfect wedding day like this does not just happen, it takes preparation.  I was over the moon about my dress choice but a little undecided about how to wear my hair.  It was very important to me to get the right Wedding Day Hairstyle that I would love but still feel like me, my own hair is mid-length, naturally wavy, and quite thin.

I decided to have a hair trial a week before the wedding, just to put my mind at ease, as I had never worn hair extensions for such a big occasion and wanted my hair to be just right.

At the hair trial, the extensions had been colored and cut and matched my hair perfectly, it was extremely hard to tell my real hair from the hair extensions, and they looked fantastic.

On my wedding day, my hair looked better than I could have ever imagined. I was so happy with my decision to wear Clip-on Extensions,  it was the perfect Wedding Day Hairstyle for a perfect day!!
